The stories of 1001 Arabian knights and of the genie in the bottle have been around for a long time. Even in the media we have seen and experienced them. I dream of Jeannie, Aladdin, Sinbad, and Kazaam to name a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have been experiencing things that I could not explain. People would stop me in the streets and talk to me about Djinn. I would travel and meet someone who had an interaction with a Djinn. I was even told that I had a connection to Djinn. So, I decided I wanted to do some research on it to find out all that I could.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Modern Science states that anything that cannot be empirically proven is not true. But there was a time that people thought that the world was flat, that the earth was the center of the universe, etc. Yet, there were others around the world that said differently. Today we are reawakening to concepts and ideas at a rapid pace. Science has even shown that our eyes have the capabilities to see only 10% of the light spectrum. Could that mean that there are things\/others living among us and we simply can\u2019t see them. Anyone that has or has had a pet knows that there are times when the pet will stare, bark\/hiss at what we believe to be nothing. But, is it nothing or is there something that we simply can\u2019t see?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout history humans have always had a deep attraction for the supernatural and the unseen. The existence of a world parallel to our own has always fascinated people. This world is commonly referred to as the spirit world, and almost every community of people have some concept of one. Many communities around the world speak of beings that are not necessarily seen but that they have experienced. Is it possible that some people are able to see beyond the 10% of the light spectrum, which causes them to see something that others cannot see?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many years ago I went to a bookstore and was looking at the occult\/spiritual books on the second floor. I remember taking a book off the shelf and then I heard a voice say, \u201cI have been waiting for you.\u201d I didn\u2019t think the person was talking to me because I was not there to meet anyone. I continued scanning the book and as I was placing the book back on the shelf, I could feel the presence of a man looking at me. I turned towards him and he said \u201cdidn\u2019t you hear what I said?\u201d I looked at him and turned around to see if there was someone else he was speaking to. I turned back to him to say \u201care you talking to me?\u201d but then I noticed he was sitting in a lotus position on the floor. Before I could ask my question, he said \u201cyes, you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In that moment I was confused. I was about 19 years old and knew I was an adult but I also felt like a boy at times. My mother said do not speak to strangers but as an adult I have the freedom to meet and connect with people. I decided to speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I stuttered \u201cWhat did you say?\u201d As I waited for his response I began to look at him to see if I knew who this person was and maybe I had forgotten that I met him before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He had a large head & torso with broad shoulders. Skinny legs that had very little muscle. I remember this very clearly because I thought that he looked like a Fried chicken leg. He had no shoes on, was wearing shorts and a button down shirt that was unbuttoned down to his stomach. OK, so it was the mid eighty\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said \u201cI have been waiting for you!\u201d I looked around again because I still could not believe that he was speaking to me. \u201cFor what?\u201d I said. Don\u2019t you remember? He looked at me with a sad face and said \u201cWhen you are ready.\u201d And then he folded his arms and looked down. I said ok, and I walked around to the next aisle. I did not want him to see how nervous and confused this conversation made me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet me go back and see what this guy is talking about\u201d. I took a deep breath and went back within a few seconds and the man was gone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
